The day of the Wicked Water fantasy photoshoot was gloomy, cold, and windy. The kind of weather that feels straight out of a fairytale before the hero faces their fate. Perfect, honestly.


As soon as we arrived, the chill in the air mixed with the dark rippled of the water to create this moody, cinematic backdrop. My model and I couldn't stop laughing. Between the gusts of wind, tangled hair, and the occasional splash, it felt like the universe was trying to test our commitment to the aesthetic.


The moment I lifted the camera? She transformed. Every time the shutter clicked, she became the character. She was powerful, still, hauntingly beautiful against the dark water. Then, as soon as I lowered the camera, we'd burst into laughter again. That perfect balance of connection and transformation is what I love most about fantasy photography.


The Wicked Water session was about embracing the contrast: playfulness behind the scenes, intensity in front of the lens.The result was a gallery that felt both alive and mysterious -- the kind of portraits that look like they belong in a storybook written on stormy nights.
