There's nothing like an overcast senior session -- especially when it's packed with laughter, style, and five incredible high school seniors. This Shawnee Mission Park senior girl styled shoot was one for the books, and I'm so excited to share it with you!


This session was part of a local Kansas City photographer retreat hosted by Hallie Fry, an amazing photographer and someone I've been lucky enough to call my mentor for the past year. She brings so much heart, creativity, and vision to everything she does -- and this shoot was no exception. We had a few unexpected moments along the way (including a very close call near the water!), but thankfully, all camera gear (minus a few batteries) survived and the memories we captured were well worth it.


Our five senior girls showed up with so much personality and style. From soft, romantic looks to bold and modern vibes, each senior brought her own energy -- and they truly shined. Working with them was an absolute dream. They hyped each other up, laughed nonstop, and embraced every prompt with confidence and joy.


Shawnee Mission park provided the perfect natural backdrop for our Kansas City senior photography session. Between the golden light, tall grass, and calm waters, it gave us that effortless, editorial feel that every senior dreams of for their photos.

This session reminded me exactly why I love what I do -- because it's not just about gorgeous photos (though, trust me, these are stunning). It's about creating unforgettable moments and celebrating this exciting season of life.
