One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to capture couples as their story unfolds, and these two have such a beautiful one. I first photographed them as a couple in love, and now I had the joy of documenting this new chapter as they prepare to welcome their baby.
Fall on the Kansas City ranch couldn't have been a more perfect backdrop for this session. The golden grass, soft evening light, and crisp air came together to highlight their excitement and love for each other. What stood out most, though, was the way they looked at one another. Full of joy, anticipation, and tenderness as they wait to meet their little one.
